What cookies do here
Cookies are small values a website asks your browser to store and return with later requests. Verve US uses them for administrator authentication and remembering acknowledgment of its essential-only cookie settings. This policy covers vervecopilot.us and meet.vervecopilot.us; it does not describe storage used by the separate desktop application or an external download destination.
Administrator session: verve_session
verve_session supports administrator authentication and is used only for administrative access, not as a guest account or invitation identity check. Its configured lifetime is 12 hours. It is HTTP-only, so browser page scripts cannot read it, and uses SameSite=Strict, which restricts its inclusion with requests originating from other sites. These settings are protections, not a guarantee against unauthorized access.
Essential-only acknowledgment: verve_consent
verve_consent remembers acknowledgment of the website's essential-only cookie choice for 180 days and uses SameSite=Strict. Despite its name, it does not authorize analytics, advertising, or other optional tracking. There are no optional cookie categories to enable. The preference interface explains this essential-only configuration rather than offering nonfunctional marketing toggles.
No optional trackers
The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party embeds, or remotely loaded third-party fonts. It has no newsletter tracking or website payment integration. Displaying a meeting in your device's local time happens in the browser and does not transmit your device timezone to the website.
An invitation's unique URL is not a cookie and is not protected by cookie preferences. Anyone who obtains the full link can view its details. Server logs can separately contain IP addresses, user agents, and requested URLs; clearing cookies does not delete those logs or stored invitation and contact records.
Managing browser storage
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Blocking the session cookie prevents normal administrative authentication. Removing the acknowledgment cookie means the website may ask you to acknowledge the settings again. Your browser may delete either cookie before its configured expiration.
Cookie lifetimes are not retention periods for database records or logs. Refer to the Privacy Policy and the separately published retention details for those records. External installer hosts, calendar providers, and the desktop application may use their own storage under separate policies. Direct cookie questions to the operator's published contact; changes to the website's cookie use will be reflected here.
